Promoting the Hobby – Providing for Charity
The Sunset Cruisers Car Club was formed in November of 1998, in those 25 years we have lived up to that motto while working to educate and improve the Owensboro area car-culture.
The club hosts the annual International Bar-B-Que Festival Car Show as well as Cruise-Ins April through October. We are not all about work, there is the annual picnic and Christmas Dinner. During the summer months various Fun-Runs are put together where as a group we drive our cars; visiting restaurants, baseball games, charitable events, Halloween trails, and of course car-shows, (we love winning club participation trophies). In 2013 our intent is to expand these Fun-Runs to include visiting other Cruise-Ins in the area.

At the end of each season we tally our efforts, congratulate ourselves, and distribute funds to various charities as voted on by the membership.
